Coaching for Doctoral Students

Dr. Conceição is Professor Emerita in the Department of Administrative

Leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is an accomplished scholar and the author of numerous books and peer-reviewed publications focused on adult learning, online education, and graduate student success.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Conceição has served as the major professor for 15 doctoral students and as a member of the doctoral dissertation committee for more than 30 candidates. Her work and scholarship center on graduate student advising, dissertation coaching, mentoring, and the processes that support timely and successful degree completion.

Dr. Conceição brings extensive experience guiding doctoral students through all phases of the dissertation, from proposal development and literature review to analysis, writing, and completion. Her contributions to graduate education have been recognized through multiple awards honoring her leadership, scholarship, and commitment to doctoral student success.
